Compact Ethernet to fibre media converter for camera housings
This version of LIGHTSPAN is designed to be small enough to fit inside camera backboxes or other housings. LIGHTSPAN SC100 can deliver 100Base-FX Ethernet at 2000m (1.24 miles). It has EMC compliance suited for railway applications and a -40degC to +70degC operating temperature.

LIGHTSPAN SC100 Backbox
LIGHTSPAN converts wired Ethernet to optical Ethernet for long data runs. The example shows a standard LIGHTSPAN being paired with a Backbox version. Both devices must be locally powered.
